History
Meyer & Allen Associates (M&AA), a California Corporation, provides architectural, planning, urban design, and interior design services under the direction of the firm’s principal, Clifton Allen. Established in 1957 and incorporated in 1959, the firm is headquartered in Hollywood, California and serves a broad spectrum of public and private sector institutional clients.
M&AA is a firm of generalists which focuses on the design and implementation of complex projects that cut across traditional lines of specialization. The firm’s principal and associates are directly involved in each and every project. M&AA maintains long term relationships with clients - from the master planning of their campuses through the programming, design and implementation of their facilities.
The firm’s size has allowed M&AA to design architectural projects ranging from the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA, to SCAQMD Headquarters in Diamond Bar. The firm’s planning and urban design assignments have ranged from the design of entire sectors of cities, such as the Central City West Specific Plan, to master plans for institutional campuses, such as the California Institute of Technology, to development plans for individual streets and intersections.
