Ronald Silveira’s professional career began in 1976 with the Los Angeles Community Design Center, a non-profit architectural and planning firm in Los Angeles. During his tenure, Mr. Silveira saw the firm through a transition from a volunteer to a fully in-house professional staff. Mr. Silveira’s career development paralleled the Design Center’s transition. He joined the Design Center as a VISTA Volunteer, and when he left in 1983, Mr. Silveira was principal Architect and Co-Director, responsible for all architectural projects undertaken by the firm.
Mr. Silveira joined Meyer & Allen Associates in 1984 and became an Associate in 1988. He oversees the production of all construction documents created by the firm. With over 35 years of experience, he has a broad background in the production of construction documents for residential, commercial and institutional projects. Mr. Silveira has a thorough working knowledge of the State of California’s Building Code, as well as extensive experience with the Division of the State Architect and other approving agencies for K-12 education, health care and public university projects.
